Nestled in the heart of Hutan Lipur Chemerong, within the lush Pasir Raja Forest Reserve in Dungun, Terengganu, the Chemerong Berembun Langsir (CBL) trail offers an unparalleled escape into nature’s untouched beauty. Just 30km from Bandar Al-Muktafi Billah Shah (AMBS) and 100km from Kuala Terengganu, this 292-hectare haven features towering rainforests, crystal-clear rivers, and cascading waterfalls.

Highlights include the breathtaking Chemerong Waterfall, one of Malaysia’s tallest at 305 meters, and the serene Langsir Waterfall, where visitors can cool off in pristine, refreshing pools. Whether you’re hiking through the vibrant wilderness, conquering the challenging Gunung Berembun, or relaxing at picnic spots equipped with gazebos and scenic pathways, the CBL trail promises an immersive retreat for adventurers and nature lovers of all levels.

  • 6:00am - Gather at Hutan Lipur Chemerong
  • 8:30am - Briefing by the forest office and CBL guide
  • 9:00am - Warm-up and departure (starting point)
  • 10:00am - Chemerong Waterfall
  • 10:45am - Move to Camp Y
  • 12:00pm - Bukit Taubat
  • 2:00pm - Expected arrival at Camp Y (Camping) (Free & Easy)

  • 6:00am - Wake up, clean campsite
  • 9:00am - Move to the peak of Gunung Berembun
  • 12:00pm - Peak of Berembun. Regroup (Lunch)
  • 4:00pm - Arrive at Kem Langsir, set up campsite (Camping) (Free & Easy)
  • 8:00pm - Dinner (Free & Easy)

  • 6:00am - Wake up and enjoy sunrise
  • 7:00am - Breakfast and pack up
  • 9:00am - Depart (Campsite - Pintu Rimba)
  • 10:30am - Arrive at Sg Bangan and enjoy a swim
  • 11:00am - Move to Kem B
  • 1:00pm - Expected arrival at Kem B and lunch
