Mount Yong Belar, the third highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia at 2,183 meters, offers a challenging hike through the Titiwangsa Range near Cameron Highlands. Known for its advanced and technical trail, the hike features picturesque views, mossy forests, and campsites like Kem Tudung Periuk. Hikers should start early, stay hydrated, pack light, and be prepared for cold, windy conditions at higher elevations.

Highlights
Dayhike Trip to G7, the 4th Highest Mountain in Peninsular Malaysia.
Hiking duration: Approximately 10-14 hours. Endurance training is required for this trip.
Difficulty level: Moderate to Hard (hiking experience recommended).
Yong Belar is an endurance trip, not a leisurely one. However, if you’re lucky, you might get an open view at the often misty summit and see the mossy forest of Yong Belar.
Trained guides (PMGM) and accompanying crew will hike together with you.
Gunung Yong Belar trip is suitable for training for the next G7.
